Austria
Firstly (most importantly) Detica have agreed to have me start there in January despite the slight hitch with the degree class so I will at least get some money to pay off the last few years debts within the forseeable future!
I've just got back this morning from Austria where it seems people really do where leather shorts and the women really do look like they are acting in the sound of music (at least they do on Sundays).
I went and climbed the Hohr Dachstein (2995m) which wasn't very difficult, but quite fun. Lots of molten snow sloshing around in my boots by the end... (I can be seen in the distance in the photo, walking past a glacier most of the way to the top).

I'm off to Croatia tomorrow to sail round some islands... many further exciting things to follow hopefully!
